The jacket is constructed from a vintage Checkerboard quilt dating back to the 1950’s which I sourced form an Antique quilt store located in Denmark.
Press studs covered in the same fabric blends perfectly with the overall feel. It includes two patched pockets on the outer layer and 1 patched pocket on the inner lining as well as a special handsewn quote on the opposite inner lining.
The design for this look was created to fit a variety of body types. The jacket has a dropped shoulder and is meant for an oversized look. See measurements for more details.
This medium weight quilt would be perfect for layering in the winter months and perfect when wearing unbuttoned during the warmer months.
This is an original design and will not be reproduced.
Please keep in mind, this is a vintage piece and more than 70 years old. Take proper care and please be gentle when wearing it.
Washing instructions
Hand wash only when needed by soaking in cool water with gentle soap, then lay it flat in the sun to dry and disinfect. Please connect with me via email for any maintenance questions.
