Green Maasai Quilted Tote Bag 2

This one-of-a-kind tote is made with maasai, a fabric known as the “African blanket” and is worn by the Maasai people in East Africa. I bought the material in South Africa where it is just as popular.

Known for it’s strong, thick and durable qualities, it lends itself perfect for a tote bag.

The detailed patchwork/embroidery pockets on both sides of the tote consists of 3 different varieties of cotton fabrics. This bad is lined with 100% cotton Fabric, including 2 small inner pockets and a cotton batting interlining layer making the tote slightly more puffy. The straps are 100% cotton webbing, the inner pockets are fastened with metal snap closures.
