Patched Maasai Tote Bag

This one-of-a-kind tote made with stripes of African fabric and maasai, a fabric known as the “African blanket” as worn by the Maasai people in East Africa. I bought it in South Africa where it is just as popular.

Known for it’s strong, thick and durable qualities, it lends itself perfectly for a tote bag.

It is complemented by detailed patchwork stripes and colourful embroidery cotton tassels. Lined with 100% cotton Fabric, 2 small inner pockets and a cotton batting interlining layer making the tote slightly more puffy. The straps are 100% cotton webbing and has metal snap closures on the inner pockets.
